How the comparison works
The checker separates the names you paste, keeping commas inside parentheses together. It ignores letter case and repeated spaces, then looks for the same complete name in the current manufacturer declarations in our catalog. It does not guess synonyms, concentrations or ingredient functions.
A name such as “Water” may not match “Aqua (Water, Eau).” That is an unknown here, not proof that the substances differ. Old or unavailable source declarations are excluded from matching. Your package takes precedence if its formula differs.
Questions about the result
Can this check an allergy or tell me a product is safe?
No. Check your package and appropriate professional advice for allergies. A text match cannot establish safety or how a formula will affect you.
Why does a familiar ingredient say unmatched?
Its exact spelling may differ, or the current catalog may not contain it. The checker preserves that uncertainty instead of guessing a match.
Can I save or share my pasted list?
The text is not stored or added to the URL. Clear removes the list and result. Copy your own notes before closing the tab if you want to keep them.
