Setup and use
- Unplug the steamer, release the 150 mL chamber, open its inlet, fill it with distilled water only above the minimum line, close it and click it back into place.
- Plug in and press the rear power switch. Wait until the blinking indicator becomes solid, which the maker says can take up to 60 seconds, then slide the steam control on.
- Before every use, point the steamer away from the body and emit a test burst. Keep the vapor outlets off skin and keep the unit moving through the hair.
- For the launch-catalog PATTERN Intensive Conditioner, PATTERN explicitly permits steaming for up to 10 minutes before rinsing. Do not transfer that timing to another formula without its maker's heat permission.
- After use, unplug, allow the unit to cool, flush with distilled water using the supplied bottle, and wipe product from the body with the supplied dry cloth. Store dry with the cord loose rather than wrapped around the unit.
What changes your choice
Use distilled water only and put no additives in the chamber.
Never remove or fill the reservoir while the steamer is plugged in.
Test the vapor away from the body before every use; keep the outlets off the scalp and skin and keep the device moving.
The maker explicitly permits use with PATTERN Intensive Conditioner for up to 10 minutes. That permission does not establish compatibility with every mask.
