Setup and use

  1. Set the main unit on a clear, level, dry indoor surface away from a bath or shower. Assemble the bracket, strap and connecting tube securely, then attach the hair-care hood.
  2. With the appliance unplugged, add water through the fill opening without crossing the red maximum line. Put only water in the reservoir; the manual prohibits chemicals and essential oils.
  3. Connect the 120V US unit directly to a properly grounded outlet without an extension cord, then use the steam on/off control. The unit alarms and stops when its water level is very low.
  4. After use, turn the steam control off and unplug immediately. Do not touch hot parts. Remove the condensate cup at an angle, drain the collected water through the designated outlet, and replace the silicone plug after draining.

What changes your choice

The manual says the device is designed for professionals properly trained in its use. TheWashDay therefore does not recommend KD2328A to an untrained home user even though the retail page also markets home use.

Use the 120V 60Hz 400W configuration in the US; the same manual also lists a separate 230V 50Hz 450W configuration.

Use indoors on a level surface, directly connected to a grounded outlet; no extension cord, wet hands, bath or shower use, or unattended operation.

Use water only. Do not add chemicals or essential oils to the tank.

The appliance manual does not supply a hair-treatment duration. The treatment maker's explicit heat permission and timing remain controlling.
