Use the list as a stage menu

The products below cover regular cleansing, a constrained reset, rinse-out conditioning, mask use, leave-in placement, and styling format. Pick one product from each stage you actually need. No hands-on test or universal score is attached, and ingredient names are not converted into efficacy claims.

Keep color, bleach, straightening, and frequent heat history in the routine notes. History can explain why sections differ, while product choice still comes from exact directions and a controlled result.

For a regular wash: OLAPLEX Nº.4 or PATTERN

OLAPLEX Nº.4 is directed onto wet hair after emulsifying in the hands, followed by lather, a thorough rinse, and conditioner or a mask. The maker says it may be used as often as the reader washes and supplies 2.5 mL as an average application basis. That measured basis can make a personal cost comparison easier, but it is not a guaranteed dose.

PATTERN Hydration Shampoo is directed through wet scalp and hair with water added as needed, a thorough rinse, and an optional repeat. Compare the application sequence and package sizes rather than assuming either formula is right because of a high-porosity label.

For a reset with service timing: OLAPLEX Nº.4C

OLAPLEX Nº.4C is directed weekly or as needed in place of regular shampoo, with a once-every-one-to-two-weeks FAQ range. The maker says to wait at least two weeks after permanent color and two weeks after a smoothing treatment. Choose it when those instructions fit the reset job.

Do not seed its calculator dose: the current page gives conflicting 2.5 mL and 5 mL figures. Measure your own amount. If you need a color-safe clarifier, exclude Malibu C Un-Do-Goo because its maker explicitly says it is not color-safe.

For a short conditioning step: OLAPLEX Nº.5

OLAPLEX Nº.5 is directed from mid-lengths to ends after shampoo, left for one to three minutes, and rinsed. That placement can suit a routine where older lengths need the selected conditioning step while roots do not need the same coverage. The current application-count copy should not become a cost default because it conflicts with package-volume arithmetic.

For root-to-end application and explicit sectioning guidance on dense or long hair, compare PATTERN Medium Conditioner. Those are direction differences, not claims about which formula repairs or penetrates hair.

For a mask that replaces conditioner: Briogeo

Briogeo directs Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask evenly through hair after shampoo, leaves it for five to ten minutes, and says to use it once weekly or every two weeks in place of conditioner. That replacement and shorter mask time are the reasons to consider it for a planned mask wash.

Curlsmith Double Cream Deep Quencher offers a longer 10-to-30-minute window and the same one-or-the-other principle with its rinse-out conditioner. Choose from time and direction, then evaluate your section-level result.

For targeted leave-in and styling

Briogeo Rosarco Milk uses a spray on clean, damp hair, focused on mid-lengths to ends and combed through without rinsing. It is not a heat protectant. PATTERN Leave-In Conditioner uses an even application through soaking-wet, conditioned hair. Choose the placement and wetness instruction that matches the routine.

For strong gel hold, Curlsmith In-Shower Style Fixer is directed through soaking-wet hair and forms a maker-described firm cast that can be scrunched only after the hair is completely dry. Leave styling out when you do not need it.

Keep the formula boundary visible

Use ingredient lists for literal fragrance, named silicone, and named protein or amino-acid questions. Do not infer high-porosity suitability, repair, or allergy safety from those flags. Verify the package you received when an exact formula matters, and exclude any conclusion the available field cannot support.
